THE SUIT:

Gray windowpane with blue is dark enough to wear year-round but will become a warmer weather favorite.  It's a year-round fabric but you just feel cooler in the lighter colors.  The pattern stands out but the suit remains wearable to the office and most social occasions.  

6" drop is the difference between chest and waist size - a size 42 jacket comes with size 36 slacks.  (42 - 6 = 36)
