THE COAT:

Call it a “stadium coat” or a “toggle coat” or a warm, comfortable coat – it’s a classic revised for the modern era.  A zipper closure behind the toggles and loops closes the coat against the wind, an issue with the older versions and a poly insulated lining adds warmth while adding minimal weight.  You still have the caped shoulder and big outside pockets for glove and hat storage and two inside pockets for valuables.  The hood buttons off for convenience.  In a black watch plaid to add to the timeless nature of the coat.
